Why is alpharooms.com different from other hotel web sites?

Alpharooms.com sell thousands of hotels to people looking for a 2/3-night break. However, our main booking revenue comes from customers booking 1 or 2 weeks in hotel accommodation abroad. This means higher revenue for us, and more commission for you!

Holidaymakers are realising that by avoiding "package deals" and booking their flights and accommodation separately, they are able to save hundreds of pounds! In 2003 room-only bookings were up 39% (AC Nielsen). So far in 2004, alpha has sold our highest levels of room nights in hotels abroad.

We have a huge range of hotels across the Med and Canaries. In Majorca alone (the UK's most popular holiday destination) we have just fewer than 800 hotels on offer. Plus, with the warmer winter climates of the Mediterranean and Canaries, customers are booking 7/14 nights in hotels all year round!

Our average paid commission for affiliates is Ł26 a booking. In addition our average EPC for September is over Ł20!

Keyword Buying

Alpharooms affiliates are not permitted to bid against the following terms on any pay per click search engines (including but not limited to Google Ad Words, Overture, Espotting etc.):

alpha beds, alphabeds, alpha bed, alpha accommodation, alpha international accommodation, alpha, alpha-beds, alpha beds.com, alphabeds.com, alpha-beds.com, alpharooms, alpharoom, alpha rooms, alpharooms.com, alpha-rooms

Any affiliates found bidding on the above terms will be suspended from the program and will not be paid commissions already earned for that month.

Brand Name Copy Guidelines

The following guidelines are prepared to help avoid confusion for your user and promote a consistent brand name across the network.

When writing about the site, make sure that all statements are factually correct. Please ensure that your own statements about Alpharooms.com are up to date. Any confusingly similar names to the ‘alpharooms.com’ name, including but not limited to "alfa rooms" or “Alpharoms” must not be used in any way. Any reference to our previous brand name “alpha-beds” must be used to inform the user that the name has changed. For example: “Alpharooms (formerly known as alpha-beds)…"

"Alpha-beds” on its own is out-of-date and needs to be changed.

Pop-ups, pop-unders & Iframes

Any pop-up, pop-under or Iframes that are used to force the cookie onto the users browser are entirely unacceptable. Any affiliate member found to be using such methods will be immediately suspended from the alpharooms affiliate program and will not be paid commissions already earned for that month. A decision will then be taken on whether or not to exclude the web site permanently.

Any site that continually fails to comply with these guidelines will be removed from the alpharooms program.
